Service Description

Standard soil testing required for the foundation design of residential and commercial buildings. The purpose of these test is to determine if there are and adverse soil conditions under proposed home site. These conditions include expansive clays(pipe clay), organic material, buried debris, and voids. Expansive soils (pipe clay) are known to cause problems to foundations due to heave and subsidence of these soils. Typically, 10ft of non-expansive soils are needed below the base of the foundations footer system to allow for a buffer between the building foundation/parking area and the expansive soils.
